Paraguay: Volunteers will promote entrepreneurship and enable people of limited resources to create jobs and increase their family income. Specifically, volunteers will teach English and provide micro-entrepreneurial, microfinance, and sustainable agriculture training to emerging entrepreneurs.  Volunteers will also assist the Agricultural School with their outdoor education program. 

Peru: Empowering Nations is continuing to explore opportunities for volunteers to serve in the Sacred Valley of the Inca near Cusco, Peru with Eagle Condor Humanitarian. Please check back for updates on our projects in Peru.

Kenya: Volunteers will help to teach the very poor of rural Kenya how to use micro-loans to expand their small businesses by working with a microfinance organization patterned after the world-renowned Grameen Bank. Volunteers will also work on a social enterprise that provides local employment in rural areas through the production of coconut oil, as well as work in local schools and orphanages.

Ghana: Empowering Nations is continuing to explore opportunities for volunteers to serve in the rural villages and towns of Ghana. Please check back for updates on our projects in Ghana.

Mozambique: Global change agents will engage in development efforts such as curriculum development for community health and education classes, micro-credit and/or income generation curriculum and procedures, human resource practices, management procedures, information technologies, etc.

Past Projects
